Got my first VW in 1970. Didn't get another one till 1992 ish.Started going to shows.Putting on shows and Bus campouts in Texas.Had a nice single cab that a friend and I build in his home garage.All my shows were for charities,never made a penny off any of them.I have a group on FaceBook called the Oval Office.We have 300 members of mostly Oval window VW's . I give out the Oval Office award at each show I attend.I was honored to have my Oval on the cover of the first Mega issue of Volks America.I feel like I have a story that would be interesting to VW folks as I meet alot of awesome people on my VW travels.The best way to look up the Oval Office is to search Paul Smith.The other gets you to a lot of political stuff.
