Has restored a few antique cars including a bus and two bugs. Mike fought with me during my cancer battle. One day while feeling good , I drove his bus Purplehaze. I came back and said oh I want one. So we found Flower she had some cancer as well. Mike restored her for me after my treatments were done he presented me her. I call her Flower as she is my celebration of life bus.
A couple of years later Mike came up with the idea of restoring a bug with the help of Mississippi Gulf Coast VW Club, Rare Air of Pensacola and NOAC along with Mustang Alley Body Shop and a few friends and family. To raffle off this bug for Fight Colorectal Cancer, which is what I am a survivor of. It was a great little car and we raised 20k plus. So then after seeing Sherry look at the raffle Car and knowing how she and Levi thru Tye dye and community love helped others. Mike suggested to the club's and friends that a bug be restored and presented to them and that is how owsley was reborn and now becoming a very cool and recognized little bug.
