Liam Sianko-Gundlach

Owner of Klunk Garage, a Volkswagen oriented social media account that makes mini documentaries about the German automaker. I started it because of my passion for the company and its deep routed history in the automotive world. After studying history for a few years in college as well as digital media, I have a strong ability to story tell and create high quality content.

My very first Volkswagen was a 2016 VW Golf 1.8T, and it was the best introduction I could have asked for. It treated me well for my 4 years of ownership. Through that time I had a few project cars: a ‘89 Cabriolet, ‘73 Beetle, and now an ‘88 Fox. No matter the generation of Volkswagen, I love it.

I originally grew up owning Toyota’s because that’s all my parents would purchase in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Once we moved to Idaho, I managed to convince them to jump ship to Volkswagen, and we haven’t gone back since!
