President/Founder

My name is Kurt Siegrist, I'm the President/Founder of a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization called Bug-O-Rama ICT, Inc. I acquired a car show a little over a decade ago. It was merely a name "Bug-O-Rama" and cardboard box of junk aka someone's hopes and dreams... LOL. Over the first couple years we elevated a dead all VW car show that happened once a year into a powerhouse event in the Midwest. I changed the name to Bug-O-Rama ICT, Inc, got our Kansas Corporation, a Kansas Raffle License, our EIN number and registered our nonprofit with the IRS to become a legal nonprofit. Over the years we have added many things to our annual calendar to continue to raise funds to help crippled children & veterans. in 2025 we passed the $90K mark on funds we have raised since our inception a little over a decade. Our events are unique, as they are Festivals, NOT just a car show with a bowling trophy given out at the end for coming. We have Vendors, Swappers, Food Trucks, Live Music, Axe Throwing, 50/50 cash pot, huge raffle area, weekend dry camping and more! This year will be hosting almost a dozen events. First up is our 2nd Annual All German Spring Fling in April, then our 3rd Annual Veteran Honor - Car, Truck, Bike Show & Poker Run in May, then in October we will host our 17th Annual Deutsch-Tober Festival & German Car Show (I got involved at the 6th Annual). We will also host 6 pop-up Show & Shine events from April to September, we call those "Donuts & BBQ". We also set-up our nonprofit in the summertime at an event called Automobilia, this one draws over 100,000 people and over 1,500 vehicles of all kinds. We also do an annual Fireworks Tent in June/July, and we partner with a veteran friend to do an annual Diecast Show in November. And we personally hit over 40 shows throughout the year where we show our own cars and promote our nonprofit. We have a 1963 VW Beetle Convertible "Cherry Bomb" that we cruise a lot. I've also got a 1946 Plymouth P15 Special Deluxe I've had for 41 years (I was 11 when I got it), she's called "Big Booty Judy". And I'm in the process of building a 1968 VW Fastback, his name is "F-Bomb". I own a custom shop called "3 Monkey's Hotrod Garage" and BBQ. I work on all types of vehicles for various customers, anything from a simple oil change to a frame off restore. So, like I said in my email, I'm a gearhead, been one my whole life. I'm also a serious Philanthropist, have been my entire life. I was raised in the Mason/Shrine lifestyle, so my upbringing was to give back and help others. So when I connected with the car show over a decade ago it gave me a platform to use to raise money. It has been a wild ride for sure! Check out page 48 in the July 2024 issue of Hot VW's mag, Shin spent a few days here with us and we had a blast! Tom and his family have been good to us and it's been a ton of fun. Been trying to get Dan here from VW Trends mag, can't seem to get connected with him. I want to be able to put my events out in front of everyone! Social Media & our website has done pretty good, we've had people at our events from 22 different states, including Alaska! But I want more!

Thank you, Joe! I'm an open book, hit me up!
