Jack C. Sims , III

Jack Cornelius Sims III is a lifelong Volkswagen enthusiast whose passion began in 1986 with a yellow VW Bug he could admire but never drive. That early frustration sparked a dream that carried him through his first stick-shift lessons in a 1974 Super Beetle, his first self-purchased Bug in 1989, and his introduction to the national VW scene at Bug Out in Manassas, Virginia.

Throughout the 1990s, Jack immersed himself in the air-cooled culture—customizing cars, co-founding the VW E.G.O. club, and traveling to shows nationwide with his wife, whose first date with him was at a VW event. A devastating theft in 1994 forced Jack away from the scene, but after a decade he returned stronger, restoring and owning multiple Volkswagens while serving in the U.S. Navy.

In 2020, Jack founded All Events & Shows, a centralized platform promoting Volkswagen events across the U.S., now serving thousands of enthusiasts. Today, alongside his wife—known worldwide as VolkyChica—Jack remains deeply committed to preserving, promoting, and growing the Volkswagen community, proving that passion, once sparked, never truly fades.
